This foam padding material is ideal for the treatment of advanced lymphedema when skin thickening and hardness are apparent. Strips of open cell foam are sewn between two layers of washable and durable fabric creating a gentle yet affective alternative to flat foam sheets. When worn as part of a multilayered short stretch bandage system, Komprex II leaves harmless impressions on the limb surface which slowly reverse the fibrotic changes associated with longstanding lymphedema.
